Tried to do a search on this but it didn't go well.

Mine does this when a new Android auto version is downloading or installing fairly consistency, I open up play store and let it complete, restart the phone and Bronco and that seems to fix it, so check that, Galaxy S22 ultra

I have it happen probably once a week while I'm driving. Doesn't like to reconnect right away.

Apple Carplay does the same thing. The system is crap.

Also, leave a usb c cable in the bronco and plug in if wireless goes haywire, less convenient but it's a sure thing

This also happens to me on the wireless android auto from time to time.

Whats more infuriating are the times when I'm talking on the phone and the Bronco or Samsung drops bluetooth leaving me in my own personal hell trying to talk, hangup, or reconnect.

I have been having issues too. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all, other times it connects but Pandora won't play any music. Sometimes my touch screen doesn't respond to touch when Android Auto is connected. I think my next step is to remove my phone from the phone list and reconnect it. Before that I plan to uninstall Pandora on my phone and re-install it. One thing I have done is turned off the car, opened the door, closed the door, restarted and everything works just fine. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh I just recalled. I had serious issues with this last year and I uninstalled Android Auto from my phone and found a different updated Android Auto app. Once I did that it worked great until just the last couple weeks. I will probably uninstall the Android App feom my phone as well and re-install.

I think I has to do with the cell coverage from the cellular network the phone uses. I live rural and my Android Auto drops at the same location, about 10 miles out from home (heading home). It's the same location my cell coverage drops too. My guess is the function in Sync doesn't like when cell coverage stops.

I just stopped using the function altogether. I bought my Bronco to drive and not to be a rolling cell phone.
I was leaning that way also, until I was running my Spotify music in offline mode for a while, to test it out and was still have the issue. Cell service should not be impact there.

I don't have enough interest to troubleshoot it any further. My daily commute is a whole 17 minutes and just over half of it is cellular absent.
I can understand. My commute is an hour and a half

Yeah, I did the same for 15 years. Stopped the end of 2021 thank God.
It's not all that bad, I only commute round trip once a week.

I had this problem until I traded in my 5 year old LG V30 running Android 9 for Samsung S23+ running latest android version. Now it connects wirelessly and flawlessly without any issues. It's nice to have if you like to use your phone for tunes and nav, among other things.

I posted on this a couple of weeks ago. Latest updates have given my S22 questionable connectivity. Inbound calls do better than outbound for some reason. Hopefully the tech guys are looking at this. Before the recent updates I had zero probs.
