90 Bronco stalls in reverse

I have a 1990 bronco XLT 5.0, only sometimes when I put the car in reverse it starts going then stalls, I just turn the car back on and it’s fine. I also once I had to break pretty fast and that made it stalls as well, any idea what it could be? Only ever stalls in reverse

Without any additional details, this appears to perhaps be the torque converter.

Does it stall in reverse only when cold and just warming up or all the time?
