We Boost - worth it?

So I'm looking at getting the WeBoost overland.

I want it for an upcoming trip out west where I expect signal to be spotty,
but I also have trash signal most of the time around rural western PA (thanks Verizon - love the complete lie of a coverage map).
I understand the concept - it only boosts what signal you have & won't give you a signal if there is none to be found.
I'm just curious if anyone has had it & used it for a while - does it work as intended & is it worth it?
I could go with a starlink mini, but I don't really want to pay for a monthly fee & there's no good way to mount a starlink with a soft top Bronco...

We have one of there older units we have had for since 2019 and works great. if you have minimal signal it will boost it 2-3 bars. I assume this would work the same or better. I've seen these on lots of offroad service trucks.

Thanks. That is what I'm hoping for. Around my area, I almost always have signal, but not a great signal. Hoping this will offer daily life improvements & also be useful for trips.

I'm probably going to pull the trigger. I'm hoping they have some kind of sale next week for Black Friday.

I pulled the trigger this morning - Black Friday sale of about $82 was enough incentive for me to get off the fence I guess.
I'll let you know when I've got in installed how it's working
