I'm struggling with a different decision but still the idea of letting go of my 2021 Wildtrak due to multiple electrical issues over 4 years and not even 32,000 miles. Probably not helpful, but I would do what you feel is best for you. Personally I probably wouldn't do the trade because I wouldn't want to take on payments any longer than I needed to and sounds like you have put some effort into setting up your Wildtrak the way you wan it. Just my humble opinion.

Its kinda the best of both worlds, it gives you the stability of a sway bar but can flex like it is disconnected. No electronicts to fail and no stopping to pull pins to disconnect the sway bar.

I traded my first Badlands for the one I have now, and had to eat a few thousand. But it was worth it, since my first I bought was a retired Off-Roadeo unit. The underside was beat, and with Michigan's salt, I didn't want to keep it long.

Between the two trims: I finally just drove my first Wildtrak with HOSS 3.0 off-road last week in Johnson Valley and enjoyed it. With my Badlands, I forget I have the stabilizer bar disconnect often, because I don't really need it back in the Midwest. I didn't forget that Wildtrak had the Fox shocks, since they were of constant benefit off-road. So, all in all, they aren't that different, and you may enjoy your current setup more, since the benefit is always "on."

I don't know what extended warranties are going for these days, but you could still add one or up yours, and Bring Your Own Bronco is a decent deal ($495), so for more or less one month of payment, you could go again. You know your finances and capacity best, so I'd base off that.

Yeah, the sway-bar disconnect probably wouldn’t be used much to be honest. That, in itself, isn’t enough for me to go for the Badlands but it would have been nice to have. I wish I could have both the Hoss 3.0/sway bar disconnect. Perhaps I’m just a bit enamored with something “shiny and new”.

My dealer called me to offer me a deal on a new 2025 Badlands. I have a 2023 Wildtrak with Lux package. I’ve put some work into it but mostly just bolt-on stuff: steel rear bumper, Baja design fogs, air intake, e-steps, molle panels, etc. If I look at KBB for values, it’s saying somewhere in the $31-$32k range and I owe $37k. The dealer is offering me $40k for it to trade for this 2025 Badlands ($63k).

I’m a bit torn because it seems like a great deal on paper but not sure if I really want a Badlands. My ‘23 WT has the HOSS 3.0 which feels great at highway speeds and I do use it as a daily driver. However, when I do go off-road, it’s in the Northeast/NH so the sway bar disconnect would be great to have.

Anyone ever done a trade like this and, if so, any feedback/regrets? I don’t really want to lose the HOSS 3.0 but having a brand new rig, with a new warranty (and another Off-Rodeo ticket!) is a bit tempting especially given the amount they said they would give me.
