this is what your ride might look like if you live down a gravel road and have non-of the above. The dark you are seeing is the primer.

No PPE or mudflaps, why not? I actually bought a set of Rokblokz flaps, before I even picked my Black Diamond up from the dealer. They were the first thing that I installed as soon as I had it home. I have noticed little scratches on my rear flares where flung rocks have impacted them, and so far, no scratches on my rockers or side panels/doors. The only other type of mudflap that I would like to find, would be something that fits (not too large) in front of the rear wheels to stop potential bounce ups coming from running in reverse.

Just not a fan of flaps or body protection for that matter. I’d rather have the chips. If they get too bad my Brother owns a paint repair business so he can touch it up. The fender flairs are kinda soft and mine are all scratched up from some vegetation on the trails that barely touched the flair, so there is not much to do to protect them. It is funny what we can live with and what gives us anxiety, I can live with scratches and chips but put a sticker on my paint and I would have a panic attack. And don’t even try to wipe dirt off the paint with your hand, you would be walking home. LOL.
And If you thought those pictures are bad…

Its an off-road vehicle. Its going to get dinged up. the first one is always the worst.

The only one of your shots that make me hurt though is the rash on those wheels. I like the everglades wheels quite a bit. But you use the truck its going to happen.

Yup that one hurt the most when I saw it. But now that these wheels are going to be the standard issued Sasquatch wheel there will be dozens of take offs to replace it. Plus I did get the silly wheel insurance so we will see.

You can always apply MEKMagnet trail "armor," i.e. heavy vinyl wrap installed with self-backing adhesive. But it is tricky, and not as easy to work with as their video demos would suggest. The gray-background "Toppo" matches my carbonized gray beautifully.
Powerful protection against branches.

PPF has saved my paint on numerous occasions. It will go on every car I buy from here on out.

I wanted to get their ugly sweater armor but the wife vetoed that. LOL
