The Bronco Black Diamond Thread

I personally wanted the Wildtrak but that was out of my budget ranged, so while the website was down i went way more in depth about each trim, The black diamond comes with the boat seats, rubber floor, steel bumpers, GOAT system. it also has white lettering on the grill while still being plastic.

I like the the trim, I think getting the mid package upgrade, the 2.7L Twin Turbo and Sasquatch upgrade will make for a really nice rig

Anybody else go with the black Diamond?

As I try to get more info on the features for the black diamond, Since it comes with a rear locker, I might opt for the lift, 2.7 with auto a mid package. This way I can add larger tires and wheels on my own to give me the Sasquatch look..... unless it is cost effective to order the Sasquatch and 2.7 with auto

I agree, my wife really wants the front LED Headlights...... She also is hung up on the Outer Banks......... Some reason I just like the exterior options and rear locker add to the Black Diamond if I opt out of the Sasquatch package

All models, even the base, come with LED headlights. The OBX and up add the signature lighting. Which is just the LED halo ring.

The biggest appeal of the BD for me is the washout interior. I hate to have to pay more just to get it. And have things I really don't need. But unless they end up offering it across the board I guess I have to pay the price. I would gladly get the Big Bend with the mid package and add the steel bumper later if they make the washout interior available on all models.

Same here, the vinyl is nice except cold in winter but a sheep skin seat cover handles that. We have to see what we can order as options.Would like to know now so I can budget the cost.
I don't want big tires but a winch is almost a necessity.I have some chores to do around my property, a winch would make it easy.

I reserved a badlands but seriously thinking of changing at order time to BD with Sasquatch, 2.7 and mid package (and signature lighting if they allow). But considering OBX already has the mid, about 3k more than BD, if I’m ok with cloth and carpet ( and that’s all I’ve ever had so why wouldn’t I be, except the washout interior sounds so awesome) it might be more cost effective for me to get OBX with Sasquatch and 2.7 and add the bash plates and rock rails if they allow, maybe BD more cost effective. I’ll be debating it until I can build. I think if I stick with BL, I’ll probably not Squatch it, the 33” should be enough, I’ll just add 2.7L and mid package. Might come down to bottom line for me.

EDIT - oh and I’m getting dual tops with whatever trim I get.

How effective will Traction Control be (perhaps if enhanced further in one of the G.O.A.T. modes) at selectively braking a spinning front wheel, as an alternative to a front locker?

Yep, I've got my reserve in for a 4 door Black Diamond. I'm looking to add the V6, Automatic, Hard Top, and Mid-Package. Hopefully that doesn't go over my budget, or I may have to drop down to the Big Bend and see if that puts me back in my price range. (Not that that bothers me much, either.)

I reserved a 4 door Black Diamond, I'm thinking of adding the sasquatch package to it. This will be my first time getting a bronco as well as getting into off roading.I'm debating going with area 51 as the color or the other blue, but secretly hoping that a new green color option comes out.
