Replaced sub delete with fusion amp and kicker sub, not working right

Hey, I don't know who all has replaced the "sub delete" but I put in a kicker that fit, connected it with the existing harness (which fit right) and did Forscan and turned on the sub. I confirmed it was on as it's getting some sound to it, just really quiet. I did some research and someone said that the speaker wasn't wired correctly, so I tried every combination possible with the same result. I had to go back into forscan and turn it back off, too, because it would pop/rumble after about a minute of stopping the engine (which, I'm told is it releasing the last of the power in the amp). What am I doing wrong here? This is supposed to be "easy."

Also, the speaker is new, but the amp is used (you can't seem to buy them new any longer).

Sounds like you may have a busted amp. If you installed everything correctly and performed the proper Forscan updates then it should work and the pop/rumble post power down should not be occurring either. Good luck!
