I can honestly say that has never happened to me.I like my nuts tight.
Its always good to check. I saw a vehicle a while back with only 3 lugs and the other studs were stripped and broken. Since I drive for a living I guess I see these things more often.

I once had all my lug nuts hand tight but didn't torque them down when I lowered the car. I could feel it all throughout the car as I was backing out of the driveway. Lesson in arrogance I won't soon forget as it was quite embarrassing.
Build week of 7/26....still....no its 8/16 now

When the CHECK NUTS light came on in my Tesla, I just associated it with Elon Musk....
