Looking to purchase a second set of wheels and tires. I would like to powder coat the wheels to match my Eruption Green Black Diamond. What I am interested in knowing, is if powder coating will stand up to a Chicago winter, and if there is a reputable business in the general Chicago area. Also, as a side bar, how/where do I purchase tire pressure sensors from, for the extra set of wheels?
Thank you in advance!

These days most if not all OEM aluminum wheels are powder coated, so a properly done wheel should be about the same durability as the OEM wheels. TPMS, I would buy at set of sensors that can be cloned from your OE sensors. That way you do not need to train your winter tire/wheels every time you switch them. For example Schrader makes a EZ-sensor that is programmable and you can clone your OE sensors. They have several part #'s but the PN 33500 is there rubber snap in unit. They cost me ( wholesale in volume ) about $25 each. I sell them programed and installed for $50 each. You should be able to get TPMS sensors, programing and installation at your local tire shops

More bronze highlights. If you’re not careful, you can go down a colorways rabbit hole 🕳️

Looks awesome! I can hear my wallet wheezing!
