No More Rock Bronco

Started yesterday. When I turn on the truck I don't get the display of the rocks making the bronco, I just get a white outline bronco figure that flashes 2-3 times. All the Nav, radio, phone, etc. appear to be working OK.

1. Anyone else ever have this?
2. Is this a reset/reboot of the system? If so what is the quickest way to get that done?

Hey Ford, any ideas, history.

I haven’t experienced that but suspect that a reboot of the Sync 4 system may solve your issue.

Have you tried to reboot it?
Press & hold the power button and the seek/Right button for about 10 seconds and the screen should go black & then restart.

Maybe I'm in need of a reboot. My screen is taking a minute to warm up/display sometimes, and not in cold weather.

Haven't experienced that one, but have definitely had a few glitches here and there with the screen. Agree with @Bschurr - I think you're in need of a reboot.

Mine got weird a couple of weeks ago after replacing the battery. I am pretty sure that it was in the middle of the latest Sync update.

I’ve had to do a couple of reboots after the second to last update, for some reason, after Sync 4 started acting funny with black screens and unresponsive buttons. The latest update seems to be stable enough that applying it hasn’t required any intervention from me.

I’ve had to do a couple of reboots after the second to last update, for some reason, after Sync 4 started acting funny with black screens and unresponsive buttons. The latest update seems to be stable enough that applying it hasn’t required any intervention from me.
So mine did it during the last Ford update. A few minutes later the update completed and it was back up and working just fine. For some reason the update happened during the day. I thought that maybe the battery change reset my choices. But nope, it was still set for midnight updates and just did it during the afternoon.
