I wonder what, if any changes, this will mean to how Ford operates and the Bronco. From the Wall Street Journal:

"Chief Operating Officer Jim Farley will take over as chief executive, replacing the retiring Jim Hackett, who is more than three years into a turnaround effort that has yet to lift profits and the auto maker’s depressed share price.

The company said Tuesday Mr. Farley, 58 years old, will succeed Mr. Hackett, 65, on Oct. 1. Mr. Hackett will remain in an advisory role through next spring, the company said."

My take is overall good. Jim Hackett has gotten Ford to the brink of overwhelming success. ...Note that Bronco production has not yet started. There is money to be made, now! Glad he’s hanging in, too!

Hackett has brought Ford to the brink of disaster with bad decisions, canceling sedans that were selling, no they weren't losing money they just didn't have the same profit margin as trucks.People still want sedans.

From Benzinga

Ford Motor Co shares are trading higher after the company announced that the current COO will replace the CEO following his retirement on October 1st.

Jim Farley has a long history of sucess in the automotive field. Hackett knows furniture. He threw away 90 million on a train station that will cost 740 million by time they are done. Wonder if this is why the Bronco has taken YEARS to come out.
