Used my Ford points to get new diff cover.
Easy job. Came with new hardware and gasket. Filling was mess free with these collapsable bags. Maintenance is a breeze now.

BTW drained out 10oz less than claimed capacity factory fill.

I like the looks of that! 🥰
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Been looking at that one because of the drain plug... Would make changes so much easier than pulling the entire cover.

and yes... that looks damn good! I like that.

Very nice! Any thoughts on the 10 oz variance in capacity v. drained quantity?

Yep you’re right.

It has two filler holes and I had to use the top one to accommodate the full capacity fill.

Not a big surprise. The front differential along with the transfer case also had less than the manual calls for. Probably not a big deal for a short while anyway. I just like things right.

Assuming you have the rear locking diff, the capacity is 63.6 oz so missing 10 oz equates to over 15% - that’s a significant figure.

Well that’s exactly why I also did the front differential and transfer case. This Amsoil is top rated by a very very in-depth test I found on 6G forum. Put Red Line D6 in transfer case. It’s full synthetic.

Yah some of the stuff he says or does makes sense to me but some of it just doesn’t.
