Anybody recognize this? It was on the front passenger floor so I'm guessing it came from behind the glovebox. It wasn't there one day and the next it was. Doesn't exactly look high quality so I hope it's nothing that's needed.

So I believe that is part of the catch mechanism on the RH side of the glove box. the front or lower part mounts to the glove box and holds one end of the arm. It is the section that detaches when you gain access behind the glove box. The part you found appears to be the pivot mechanism that is up inside to the right. In the attached photo my light is pointing more towards the removable end and the mechanism is just inside.

Thank you @TK1215 ! That sure looks to be it. Time to get to work getting it back in.

Pop off the front part and push the tabs on the side to swing the box down. Then you can see if the mechanism is salvageable.

If not atleast I know it's nothing of real significance. I've been using the glovebox without issue. If it is it will be nice to have it in perfect order though.

Like @TK1215 said, that is the part you found. Taken the glove box out many times installing my amp, I know those parts well.

That’s what I like to see… a glove box that has as much trail dust as mine. 😂

I wasn't going to call him out, but I too like seeing that.
