MPG Gauge 2023 Badlands

My MPG gauge has been stuck at 20.4 for the last 6 months. Doesn't matter what type of driving, Xway, local, short or long trips, flat or hilly terrain, it remains at 20.4. The arrow does a good job playing ring around the rosy. I thought there was a reset just for MPG, but couldn't find it on any of the screens, other then the system reset.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so what was your fix? I'm assuming that a sys.rest or reboot is the only fix, but then this does not fix the problem. I'm going to get with the dealer on Monday, but thought I'd start here.

Thanks,
Dave

I reset the MPG every 1000 miles (when I remember)… by pressing OK for five seconds while the mpg ring screen is showing…

Have you ever had the issue I'm experiencing?

If you never reset it…. It will keep calculating the average from the miles driven…. As the miles go up, the possibility of changing the MPG becomes smaller and smaller… once I get close to my 1000 mile mark, its virtually impossible to change the MPG until I reset it…

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize you can reset the same as your trip mileage. I'll be on the xway for a few hours tomorrow and see what happens.

Of course…. I use trip1 to track mpg each tankful of fuel, and the avg mpg (circle) every 1000 miles (If I remember)… Trip2 I use only when I’m on a big trip, like one from Washington to Moab and back…

I say I track this stuff, but I don’t record it anywhere… just helps keep me working on driving habits to improve economy where I can…

If you have never reset it it is averaging your mileage for the total amount of mileage on your vehicle so one bad day of driving probably won’t change much. Once you reset it go fo a spirited drive you will see how that affect the mileage. It’s good to give it the beans every now and then to burn off those chlorofluorocarbons. LOL

I did drive on the xway today 200 miles. I reset before I let. I drive 65 MPH and I got a whooping 21.7 MPG. Mostly flat land except for the overpasses. So it was at 20.4, now for this trip 21.7.

Thanks again.
