Making reservations for owner Moab OffRoadeo. How was your experience? Did you stay at Red Cliffs Lodge? Seems a bit pricey - any other lodging recommendations?

We stayed at red cliffs wed-thurs and did offrodeo on Friday after checking out… GREAT EXPERIENCE…

Unless your last name is Musk, Bezos, or Swift, Friday-Sunday at Red Cliffs is kind of out of reach

The views from the rooms are stunning, and the food at the lodge is great. Town is about 30 minutes away with additional lodging. I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites multiple times, and Red Cliffs once. Red Cliffs is more expensive, as noted, but I liked the western vibe of the rooms and the private patio (my room overlooked the horses) -- It felt more like a treat of a trip. The interiors might feel a little outdated to some (beds are pretty firm too), but I liked the character a lot.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. We stayed at Red Cliffs. Views were amazing, yeah a little pricey. Town was fantastic. Liked the food better in town actually. Amazing hiking all around the area of course. Next time we'll probably stay somewhere else but staying at Red Cliffs the first time was perfect. We did one night at Red Cliffs and it was great. The rest of the trip we stayed at Under Canvas. It is a Glamping type camp ground with nice beds inside large canvas tents. Some tents also have their own bathrooms. Under Canvas is a lot closer to town and very close to Arches National Park.

I treated myself to a two-night stay at Red Cliffs Lodge. You could not ask for a better location. The view from my suite was incredible: HUGE cliff faces and a wide, flowing river. I was able to stroll over to the Bronco Off-Roadeo compound, which shares the same driveway as the lodge. Very convenient location and the food in the lodge was very tasty as well.

I went a day early to enjoy nearby Arches National Park, and so I could attend the Off-Roadeo well-rested and ready for the experience.

I figured I may never have the opportunity to stay there again, so I treated myself. No regrets whatsoever. You live once. 😉

I don't know what is going on with the photos being turned upside down or sideways, or why my cursor keeps jumping backward. Trust me, the scenery is gorgeous right-side up!

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Absolutely loved it! We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Moab. It was close to the restaurants and brewery in Moab. Got there a day early and like @BuckYeah we went to Arches National Park.

With the credit from my first Bronco I attended the NH Off-Roadeo because terrain there is closer to what I find in Georgia. When I traded my Bronco for a new one, I used that credit to go to Moab, because, well, it's Moab. Both were great experiences with the classroom discussions pretty similar, but the trails were very different.

+1 for Red Cliffs. It is a little pricey, but worth the experience. Who knows when/if you'd ever get another chance to go.

Logistics question: Do you make your Off-Roadeo reservation first or your Red Cliffs (or other hotel) reservation first? With my luck I’d make one and not be able to secure the other reservation. Maybe I worry too much, as my wife always accuses me!😐

We did the hotel first, and the Off-Roadeo immediately after. Stayed at the Red Cliffs for 3 nights, and loved it. The food, the views, the comfort, the bar. Went to the Arches. Wife rode a horse. Great place. I'd go back.

I looked at rooms first, and decided I wanted to stay at RC but didn’t want to pay 1000 a night for Fri-Sat… booked Wed-Thu and then booked OffRodeo on Friday… worked out great.

Pricing must be seasonal. We went in June and paid about 1/3 those prices, Yeah it was 113°F. Might have had something to do with seasonal pricing.

I made my Off Rodeo reservation (April 24) then tried for the Red Cliff. The only rooms available were the premium ones. And, I didn't book there.

I booked at the Hoodoo Moab, curio Collection by Hilton – 111 N 100 West, Moab UT, 84532 - phone 435-355-0595

Not cheap but reasonable especially considering I expect to spend my time in Moab in my bronco, not a room.

I just booked my reservations for Red Cliffs Lodge in June from Thurs-Mon... I got cheaper rates on Expedia than I did off the Red Cliffs Lodge website. I got a standard room w two queen beds. The rate wasn't bad at all. I'm paying an average of $283/night over 4 nights. No more than any other hotel/resort of the same caliber...

A buddy & I are making a trip out of it by going white water rafting in Westwater Canyon one day and mountain biking another.
