Impromptu Drive to Bowman Lake

This past weekend, I was itching to get out of the house - so I checked in with my local Bronco group - Gold Country Broncos to see if anyone had plans. One of the guys suggested we meet up at the local off road park.. ok.. so we met up, did a couple laps around the track they've got there, and we both realized we wanted more.. so we looked up the ONX app, and decided to head up to the Sierras to Bowman Lake. Elevation is about 6600 ft at the peak, so we figured we'd get a little snow. We had snow, mud, and a water crossing - not to mention a gorgeous view of the lake. It was a beautiful day out, and much better than hanging out at the off road park!
