Curious. Do any BN members have experience using the Hypertech 7452502 Speedometer Calibrator or equivalent on their Ford 2.7L EcoBoost engine after changing the tire size?

Considering buying the Bronco Badlands with stock wheels and tires. Sometime thereafter, switching out the wheels to the fifteen52 Turbomac HD, Asphalt Black with the 4.75” offset and the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, 35x12.50R17LT. Will need to recalibrate my speedometer/odometer and hope an aftermarket organization will have a speedometer calibrator available for the 2021 Bronco with the 2.7L engine.

If you put bigger tires then you will be going faster than your speedometer shows you will also be going farther than your odometer shows. Hmmm maybe I’ll put 44” on the bronco so I can keep it in warranty a little longer:)

I never really worried about it I would just drive the same percentage under the limit as tire size increase. But my newest vehicle is an 09 so that might change things.

Seems more and more functions are being controlled by a computer in new vehicles. The Jeep world has a lot of experience upsizing tires on their Wranglers. If methods to adjust the vehicle computer is new knowledge, the following Jeep example video might be entertaining. Especially, since our good buddy Justin is the narrator. Sit back, pop open a frosty, and enjoy!
