I haven't posted or commented on much here, but I should do so more. So let's start with one of the best upgrades I've done.

I have a 2022 Black Diamond Non-Sas, that being said, the stock shocks left much to be desired. It's still an amazing vehicle and much more capable stock than I ever imagined, but I wanted more. So on a whim, I got the Ford Performance 2in lift kit, I'm very iffy on aftermarket products, being a mechanic of over a decade, I've seen a lot of failures. That being said, these are a night and day difference!

Thread cover picture is after the lift when I still had 31s, the picture above, is when I went to 33s.

The ride quality on road and especially off road is worlds apart. On road, feels nice and smooth almost like a sedan, off road, you can 30 to 40mph on a super bunpy trail/track, and it feels like you're just driving on a regular dirt road. In the cold, they become a bit stiffer, as expected, but not terribly. It doesn't detract from them at all.

I've had them installed for approximately 7 months and about 5000 miles, no wear, damage, or anything weird happening with them. I did the install myself in a couple hours. If you're at all mechanically inclined, it's something that can definitely be done at home if you have a good set of tools. Just be sure to do an alignment after.
Good comparison between Hitachi stock shocks and Ford Performance, almost the diameter of Raptor shocks. Top pic is front and bottom is rear.
2022 Black Diamond Non-Sas but becoming more Sas over time.

Thanks for posting. Looks great and glad to hear you enjoy the improved ride.

I have a 2023 four door black diamond non-sas, and this lift kit is on my list of future mods for sure. With respect to the tire upgrade, did you stick with the General Grabber model and upgrade to the 285 width? or did you switch to a different brand/model tire?

I switched to the BF Goodrich KO2 tires, I would have gone with the Grabbers as they are great tires but I couldn't pass up the deal I got.
