I've been told by Ford that my modem was not working and that's why I can't get my weather app to work. They sent me to the dealer to get it tested and 3 dealers told me they do not have the tools to do this. The 1st of July I spit shined the Bronco and it's been parked in the garage ever since. Today I started it and backed it out of the garage to make sure it stared OK, etc. For the heck it I logged into Ford Pass. It connected within a couple minutes, got the message back that it was active. Within a few more minutes both the weather and traffic apps connected and were working. I will have to go out later and try it again, cause when I had issues it was after the truck was stopped and started. The other issue is when the weather app was not working the traffic always worked. I tried to explain this to the Ford help desk, but they still insisted it was a connection/modem issue. No one ever called me back from Ford. I was told by one of the team supervisors that he would get back to me.

Anyone else having or had this issue? I sometimes wonder if it is my location to a metro area, but Ford told me it's a satellite connection so that should not be an issue.

Nice truck, very very poor support from Ford. Ford please train your help desk folks not to promise something if they have no intention to deliver.

With my f150 (also sync4) I found if the weather app was not available and nav was working, generally gps was not working… for me I found resetting the radio (power and ff button for five seconds) would reset the gps signal, and then the weather would work…

I found this out myself, as ford online and phone support was not helpful at all…

"Hullo IT, have you tried turning it off and on again?" 😂

Hi there. I’d like to assist with your concern. Could you please send us a DM with your VIN and mileage so I can look into this further?

I have reset my system 4 times and it has not fixed the problem. Thanks for the feedback. Greatly appreciated.
