So I bought this new and mint condition with 16,400 miles, but a few months back, I noticed that my driver's door wasn't closing all the way like the others and I finally remembered to take a look today, and it turns out the bracket where the lock goes over has become loose, and so it's sliding around. See my picture below.
So I just need to tighten that up. of course, I don't have my torx. 55 or whatever it is in my toolbox. In my car, so I have to wait till I get home to fix it. And make sure that's all it requires, but I thought I'd share in case it happened to anyone else.
