Was on a call with some of the team including @bdawson24 this morning.

Ben's our resident grillmaster at Bronco Basecamps, and I've heard some of you get into quite the discussion with him on the best way to cook meats. It sparked some curiosity: How are we cooking tomorrow? And for our Canadian friends, what did you do last month?

Personally, I just show up πŸ—

Accidentally got one that was already brined, so making a dry rub and throwing it on the smoker.

I'll be the one to break the traditional turkey tomorrow. We are cooking a ham and nothing special about the way we are cooking it. 😬

Beer can in the oven...
I'm not much of a drinker, but I always drank my beer cold. Won't that explode?

My turkey is a chuck roast and it'll be several hours at 225 - 250 in a cast iron oven, cooked with onion, carrots and potatoes. We'll have some soda bread and gravy. No exploding beer.

We did an early dinner Monday, because our grandkids were here. Hubby brined the turkey for 24 hours and cooked it on the smoker low and slow. (I made homemade mashed potatoes, hubby made the best pumpkin cheesecake!)

I personally microwave my Marie Calendar turkey medallions in gravy.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

24 hr brine in apple cider, orange slices and salt seasoning mixture. Pat dry and sit in the fridge for 12 hrs. Inject a butter and maple syrup mixture into turkey. Stuff and then Throw it into the Traeger and smoke at 350 for 5-6 hrs. Until breast meat is 160 degrees. Pull and let it sit for 20-30 minute.

I’m doing two turkeys. One in the smoker and one in the fryer. Both get injected with butter and seasonings.

I’ll be drinking Shiner Bock to stay warm.
