For family roadtrips we typically do audiobooks. Lately it's been the Dragonlance series, but tons of different books... usually the young-adult genre so we don't bore the kids to death.

If it's just my wife and I, we'll do music or podcasts. Usually my wife's in charge of that... seems to be largely 1980-2000s rock music and true crime podcasts.

If it's just me... almost always podcasts. Lots of Formula 1 related shows like P1 with Matt & Tommy and The Red Flags Podcast. But also a solid helping of political podcasts, which shall remain nameless to prevent this thread from descending into madness.

The only Bronco-related podcast I listen to is BronCast, though I did listen to the Bronco Nation podcasts back when that was a thing.

My wife & I created a game based on the pool game we all played as kids: “Marco - Polo” but, we named this version “Bronco Polo”.

Here’s how it works - The 1st person to spot a Bronco yells out “Bronco” and the other replies with “Polo” when they spot it too. If you see a Bronco Sport you need to say “Baby Bronco” but in a baby voice similar to Baby Bird from Sesame Street.

NB - you can only play this game while driving in a Bronco

Funny, we always note the Bronc’o’s we see and just how many more there are on the road now. For us, it is all about the music on a road trip.

Wow most of the time I Spotify Music, right now I am hitting Noah Kahan pretty hard, he has a very eclectic mix of music. When traveling with the boys we listen to the Dollop Pod Cast (they really like it) and on every road trip I mix in the Bring Back Bronco Pod Cast at least once, I have heard all of them dozens of times. when I would drive two hours to work each day I would listen to Hardcore history Pod Cast. and I also like the Mike Rowe "the way I heard it" Pod Cast. But now that I work from Home don't really listen to much of anything. Heck I haven't left the Property in weeks, I haven't been outside in days at least not during daylight hours.

Love us some 80s-00s rock music! Can't go wrong with True Crime podcasts.

Lots of variety in this answer! We'll have to give Noah Kahan a try.

Oh and every road trip starts with this song from Hudson Moore
Also my boys are young adults now so the Dollop is not for littles.

Dragonlance? You gatta get them over to Forgotten Realms.

We mostly do music, especially on one day trips. On the last multi day road trip, I asked a question, and didn't get a reply. Looking around the truck, everyone had their headphones on and faces glued to various electronics. Had to entertain myself on the drive.

So I'm a bit late to this thread but I'll throw my $0.02 in...
There's a podcast called "Business Wars"
It has a really good 5 episode run on Bronco vs Jeep about the beginnings of both brands & their history over the decades.

They also had a good series on the downfall of Boeing & the ending of the PAC-12 as we know it if either of those interests you.

Belly Up is a great humour podcast if you like jokes about the Midwest at all .

And I just listened to a really good book "American Buffalo - In Search of a Lost Icon" by Steven Rinella that's available on Spotify as an audiobook.
