Twice now, the first time went away itself. Not this time though President collision sensor on, hill assist start fault and anti lock brakes fault all appeared on bronco screen and on ford app. Any ideas why? It is cold out, can be wet driving situations. Confusing why it would clear itself one time and not now. Wiped off all outside sensors. Help please

I have not experienced the hill assist or brakes warnings, however the collision warnings etc constantly go off whenever the sensors get covered or semi covered with ice, snow, mud, etc. I wish they had a feature to temporarily turn off those sensors when you are in inclement weather as they constantly go off when driving In those conditions. It seems to happen most when snow or ice covers them. The other sensor warnings seem odd to me. I would suggest you carry it in to your dealer and let them run a diagnostic and see if you have software that needs updating or recalibrating those sensors. All the safety features etc serve a purpose, but they don’t necessarily make things function properly when off roading or driving in inclement weather. Side note—— I also do think extreme cold effects it. When I am in low teens or single digits, the low tire pressure constantly comes on even when they may only be 1 pound below normal and I have noticed the other “sensor” systems seem to be “extra” sensitive and have a hard time clearing. Good luck. I would definitely start with having your dealer hook up the diagnostic. It will help eliminate a lot of speculation and witch hunting for a problem.

I know the pre-collision goes nuts in fog driving down a beach. I assumed it was because there were no lane markers. but it kinda looked like we were on a highway. We were in normal goat mode. Once the fog lifted a few hours later it was back to normal. I wonder how snow would affect it and does different modes turn off any of the sensors, I do t think so cause when I’m crawling the proximity sensors go off all the time. I only have mid package so I am missing a few sensors as well.

I know my expedition has inaccurate alarms in heavy rain.
Clean sensor's are a simple check

Ok, So this event happened twice and both were in wet slushy road conditions. It looks like the anti lock brake sensor 'one or more " gets wet and it throws the error which also affects the hill assist and driver assist feature. When dried out the notifications went away on the ford app. Will take in to dealer but don't know if the incident will show in the hard codes since its not showing the errors or if I will have to try to get it in the shop when the errors are actually showing on the app. And on the broncos instrument panel.

Come to find out. Ford dealership can bring up info on your vehicle faults that don't show up on your app. Turns out my right rear speed sensor was faulty allowing moisture in which caused the abs light and hill start assist to alert. Replacement of sensor will solve problem and will have that done at my soon coming oil change.
