What's on the dealer lot June 2023?

I also see the dealership is quick to attach their ugly badges on the back.

When I buy from a dealership the first thing I do when I get home is get rid of the dealership badge and ditch the license plate frames. Not really interested in doing any free advertising for them.

Went to Southwest Ford in Weatherford for a service on my Mustang and actually saw a Heritage Edition Bronco Sport with the 2.0 engine! Even saw 3 full size Bronco's including a Raptor! WOW-the Azure Gray color is nice-like a metallic Area 51 color! Check it out!

I specifically ask them not to put anything on my vehicles. They always seem happy to comply. If it is just a plate frame, I don't care. Easy off as you say.

I was lucky when I bought mine in 21-it was just off the truck with no dealer badges on it and I asked them to leave it that way, which they did. That Raptor is MSRP at $98,000 with a markup to $118,000. A $20,000 dollar mark up. Crazy. I will be glad when inventory catches up to demand so we can get away from dealer mark ups.

The dealer where I bought my BS OBX currently has 20 Sports on the lot and one Bronco. They show a Bronco Raptor on order.

It's nice when you see a dealer lot with lots of choices. They go fast here and do not stay on the lot long. I wonder if the Raptor is a customer order? That was what this one was-and then they backed out of it. Dealers have no issue when that happens with the market for Broncos still hot. Enjoy your Bronco Sport! Great vehicles!

not sure if its true, but from my salesman, a Blue window sticker is a dealer-ordered vehicle, while a Green window sticker is a special order, these days mostly from a customer

I think this is true. My sister just bought an OBX that someone else ordered. I can't tell from the pic she sent me, but it is definitely a different color than my (dealer ordered) blue sticker. Hers also says "Special Order" on it.

The Raptor had zero window sticker which is what I thought was strange since non of all of their other vehicles had the Ford blue window stickers. That is why I thought it was a customer order they were showing off or a customer cancel. The reason for no sticker was they added a dealer markup up on it. To me, that was sad. $98,000 is a lot for an off-road vehicle and then adding $20,000 more because it is the only one they have-greedy.

I don't think I've ever seen a new vehicle on the lot without a factory sticker. The dealer markup has always been a separate (small) sticker in my experience. Sounds kinda sketchy to me.

This dealer has never done dealer markups in 2020, 21, and 22. So all the cars have window stickers. Since it was a customer order, they did not put on the green window sticker, nor a separate sticker for extras/mark ups. They just left it blank. I think the reason is they are just going to quote the vehicle's price of $118,000 and leave it at that. Just stinks to me and totally hurts their credibility since they had avoided that practice up until they got a Raptor.

Please please be careful with the goo gone (goof off even more) I have seen them cloud a clear coat. (dull whitish clouding) .... Just heat it a bit and peal the vinyl off - use a hair dryer if you do not have a heat gun. You may end up leaving a bunch of adhesive on there... that is okay, Just use some Isopropyl Alcohol and it will wipe right off. Then hit it with a little carnauba and you are good to go.
