Tire pressure on Ford app

I have read that they ship cars with extra tire pressure from the factory. Dealers aren’t setting them at the suggested pressure. Had to let air out of our tires. I assume it would not be normal if a couple were way off.

Tire dealers tend to overinflate tires especially in areas that see cold temperatures. They are tired of people bringing in their vehicles for a low tire warning light when temperatures drop.

My gauge vs the screen had a 4 PSI difference. I stick with the gauge. I've had it for many a year, said the ole man, so that's what I trust. I also find the KO2's increase by 4-5 PSI once they get hot. It reminds me of scuba diving. If you are at 100 ft you can exhale all the way to the surface. Don't need to take a breath.

Living in MN, I have to adjust air pressure all the time. Varying temps from Summer to Winter. Though the dash on my Raptor is pretty accurate to a gauge. I just recently had to let some air out, brought all 4 tires down to about 37.5 psi, dash reads 38. And since I'm running BFG AT KO2s as well, depending on the outside air temp I generally only see 2-3 psi rise as they warm up. 38 psi cold, run 40-41 psi hot.

The tire pressure on mine is not consistent either. I have talked to the service advisor about during service and can't get a real answer on why tire pressures are like.
