Unfortunately (or fortunately) We haven't had any snow at all in the western part of the PNW, we're getting the heat wave while the SE is getting the arctic blast.
I've been thinking about this and it would need some experimentation, ideally with some scrap, maybe a liner or two from a junkyard.
A Durable Water Repellent like Gear Aid or Nikwax might help. A few applications sprayed on.
A silicone water repellent.
Or a silicone dry lube might be the best of these are it might be the most durable and cheapest to apply.
I was also thinking that removing them and spraying them with a few coats of Plstidip might make them less likely to hold frozen snow. Either a few coats of the spray, or maybe thinning the dip and brushing on a couple thicker coats. Thinning would make it easier to brush on, and might (wild guess based on absolutely nothing scientific) help it get in the fibers so it adheres better.
