Strange issue with new 2024 Outer Banks. After locking the vehicle (1 press or 2 press on key fob), after around 15 minutes, a single honk occurs and thereafter about every 5 minutes. I've disabled the rear seat warning (nothing on rear seats) and ensured all doors are closed. This also occurs when I use the ford pass app to lock the vehicle. The only sure way to disable this horn honk sequence is to leave the vehicle unlocked. I haven't found anything in manual to explain this. Any help is appreciated before I make a dealer appointment.

DM has been sent. An update to symptoms: After several hours of leaving the vehicle unlocked, I can lock it with no periodic single honks occurring.

Brand new '25 BS Heritage owner here, experiencing a very similar issue. Mine emits a single honk exactly ten minutes after locking (timed it a bunch of times). However, mine does not repeat the honk like yours, just does it once. Like yours it does not occur if left unlocked. Took it to the dealer and their diagnostic revealed nothing wrong, they kind of shrugged and said "Yeah that's weird." It's actually a bit relieving to see somebody else with this weird behavior, as I've had no luck with anybody else seeing it.

That must be very annoying, for you and anyone trying to sleep?? I will get a 1-honk on my 2024 if I exit the vehicle while it is running and the key is in my pocket. I wonder if there is a software issue, confusing the two.
