By your tires skidding, do you mean you’re still moving and they loose traction? Are they still spinning and having trouble getting a grip, or are they literally stopping where your car stops and goes? I know you mentioned they stop, but if they are still moving these would be my thoughts:
Your driveway approach could have something to do with it, like if it’s at an above normal slope, and if you’re turning hard into it, your tires could loose traction if you’re accelerating (somewhat significantly) to get on your driveway. Not sure what your driveway situation is like though, is your driveway steep? Or mostly flat?
Another factor could be if your driveway is slippery, and/or if your tires are slick or worn down significantly. This would also add to your tires skidding from loosing traction. Same goes with if your driveway or tire is wet.
I also have a Badlands Sport, I haven’t experience this issue before. I usually back into my driveway though, because it’s short and I usually leave in a rush for work in the morning lol. The only time my tires have skidded (or really, peeled) is when they’ve gone I’ve r a slick surface (like roadway stripe markings) while I accelerate and turn, which is normal for most cars I would say.
If you could clarify what you mean by skid, and explain a little more of your driveway situation I’d be happy to do my best to help you discern whether this is normal, or if it’s a vehicle issue!
What’s this signature for?
