Tomorrow I’m picking up an outer banks to drive until my Badsquatch Bronco comes in, and maybe keep for my daily driver. The tires on the sport are a joke.

What’s size and tire is recommended for a more aggressive tire?

Well... I guess that depends on what exactly you are looking for. Do you want the same size tire with a more aggressive look? Do you want a larger tire? Do you want to lift your Bronco Sport? Do you want to use the factory wheels?

Best aggressive tire I can fit with out lifting. Fir snow, fields, seasonal roads

This look a lot better. OB comes with like fuel economy pavement princess tires.

What model tire is that. Wild peak what?

The 18" wheels that come standard on the Outer Banks are the limiting factor. You aren't going to find many off-road tires around the 29" - 30" size that have 18" rims. 255/55r18, or 265/60r18 may work, but it'll be a little wide. And if you are hoping to trade your Bronco Sport it may be a bad idea to have a wide tire, cause it'll probably tear up the paint.

If you are willing to buy 17" wheels... you got a LOT more options. 245/65r17 would be a perfect size, or you can just do the stock Bronco Sport Badlands size that @Slownstddy posted (235/65r17) Here is a pic of someone who installed 245/65r17 on their Outer Banks. Not 100% sure if that is a BFG KO2, but it looks like it.

Thanks for the info. Tires sizes are a sciance that gives me a head ach. Lol. I don’t need bigger per say. Just something with more tread. The stock tires don’t look they would do good in snow at all.

Lol. Now we talking. Like I said I may keep for daily driver. Or just trade when mine comes in. So don’t want to put to much into it. But if the dealer will just charge me an up charge. Might as well put better tires.

Eh, sounds like you won't have it for very long... so buying 17" wheels to replace the 18" stock Outer Bank wheels may not be worth it.

So... there is probably a bunch of hybrids or "Trail Terrain" tires that will work. They're super common on Subarus and there should be plenty of sizes for 18" wheels. Not quite as "off-roady" as an All-Terrain tire, but it'll save you from having to buy new 17" wheels.

I am going to switch my Outer Banks (non squatch...if it ever arrives) to P275/65-18. Same diameter, wider profile....looking at the Pirelli Scorpion line....
Past rides: '77 Bronco, '82 Bronco...Ordered 2-Dr Cyber Orange OBX, 2.3L, Lux, MIC

The factory tires on my Big Bend have a lot of road noise. They seem very stiff.
