Very interesting Buzzy, the guys at 5 Star are making big power with the EcoBoost! They are couple hours down the road from me so I was thinking about checking them out.

Add what i can from multiple test drives.
Having only test driven both the Ranger with slightly larger engine and 1.5 & 2.0 Bronco Sports.
imo how the Bronco Sports are factory tuned already feel/react more impressively than the Ranger.
The difference in the Bronco Sports 1.5 to the 2.0.
~There is a margin of less zip in the 1.5, where owners may use the sport mode as a daily 'perk'
( pun intended)
Shifts points seem fine.
From that can imagine a tune upgrade for owners who still feel a lacking.
Especially that ford didnt offer the 2.0 in most trim levels.
This may be an owner solution?
The Bronco Sport 2.0 feels plenty strong for me. And shift points dialed in.
Those who are engine geeks will always tinker for more improvements. In the long run its good to have options on upgrades.
That said, tuning an engine can on only do so much beyond gearing.
