This past December my wife ,I and a couple other Broncos visited Big Bend Ranch State Park in West Texas. It is to the west of Big Bend National Park along the Rio Grande River. It is a very remote park requiring a 27 mile drive on a not so well maintained road to reach the ranger station. At the ranger station in information about the park and the only real amenities in the park, flush toilets and hot showers. Beyond that you need to bring everything you will need with you. There is no store or food services. The main drive we did was Fresno Canyon Road. It is a stunningly beautiful drive! Plan on camping at least three nights to give you two days of trail riding. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and quiet!
