Hello all,

I am looking to upgrade tires for looks on my 2024 Outer Banks. Want to go from stock 225/60r18 to 245/60r18. On paper this seems to be a non-issue but can anyone confirm that without a lift kit to start this will work without tire rub? Thanks

Up to the Badlands 33" 285/70-18’s without mods, and they won’t rub.Lots of people sell them off their Badlands.

Do the crash bars have to go on the 285/70r18s? Seems like i saw this somewhere.

No, the stock Badlands has the crash bars. The SAS doesn't

Are you going to replace the wheels and tires to the Badlands? I am pretty sure the OBX wheel is an 18” and the Nosquatch badlands is a 17”. That said a 245/60R18 is only a 29.5” tall tire, and only 9.65” wide so you should be fine.

No the intent is keep the rims stock, increase tire size, and eventually install a 1.5" lift kit depending on how the tire diameter issue works out. I don't want to turn it into Bigfoot and worsen the ride. I'd like better looks and a quieter ride, rougher better than noisier IMO.
