Air Down Tire Pressure On sand?

Heading to Outer Banks soon and would like to know what is recommended tire pressure for driving on sand In other words how much to air down I have 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands with RTR lift and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 245 65 R17 tires. I do not have bead lock rims Thanks!

I also have the same tires and no beadlocks. I go down to 12psi without any issues.

I just got back from OBX. I went down to 18 PSI and I was just fine.

Yep, I'm usually in that 10-12psi range also. As long as you don't any stupid sharp turning high throttle maneuvers, you'll be fine at those pressures.

I was at 15lbs all week. Not a problem.

I usually air down to 18 , this has been sufficient.Don’t forget, You may need a pass for certain locations. Check with the National Park Service.
