Yah probably a good way to go if a person has that option. I’ll have to log into my account and see how much of a discount it is.

X plan is not a discount but a msrp cap. No ADM.
They shot themselves in the foot with such a large increase.Any advantage they had over the Wrangler is gone.
You might be able to get X plan through MCA, but stock holder X plan is long gone. Fools.

Not entirely true.

X plan sets your base selling price. The dealer (or customer) can still add accessories to that vehicle.
Now it is correct they cannot add 5k for market adjustments. It has to be in the form of a accessory or a physical object being added to the vehicle.

My dealer said they will honor the X plan now and are getting me the new price. We will see though. My order is in production so I have a few weeks and might get lucky.

BN membership does give you X-plan eligibility but it sure would be nice if it did.

You will notice that the Mustang Club of America qualifies you and I believe you have to be a member for 90 days prior to generating an X-plan pin.

Also, if you know anyone that works at one of those companies or possibly at Ford, they can give you a X-plan pin to use. I think they can give out a couple a year.

BTW - I looked at the X-plan page and it has the Bronco listed but does not give what the discount will be.

Got mine X-plan from the EAA , that was before my employer added the plan.
I’m sure there’s a bunch of paths.

My wife and I both work for big data and insurance so we get the X plan. Fingers crossed and I will post the results either way. My MSRP is $50,900. I think the mark up is around $2k or so from invoice. Or including dealer incentives if any. The base SAS should have been $35k in 2021. I wonder if the 2024 is worth $51k??

I bought a nice 2012 Tundra new for $36k in 2011 fall. I sold it a couple of days ago for $17,500 cash in like 2 minutes. Basically depreciated 4.16% per year which is really good. I can’t see this Bronco being worth $25k in 12 years. No way.

First off, your $36K Tundra would cost equivalent today would be $48240 due to inflation value of the dollar. The depreciation is more than you calculated.

The Bronco may be worth well over 25K in twelve years due to inflation.

The recent Bronco price increases make it really hard to justify. Mine is a 2022 and it would cost me $10K more today for the exact same configuration. I would not buy it today for that price (17.5% more).

Sad to see. They must have totally revamped this program. I ordered a 2002 Ford van thru their X-plan and it saved me many many thousands of dollars. Each option was equally discounted. It was wonderful.

Some dealers are perfectly willing to give you a better deal than X-Plan. And sometimes Ford themselves offers incentives that are better than X-Plan.

But X-Plan pricing is lower than MSRP. And in that sense, it is a discount.

In that sense yes but overall its not such a great deal, but can save haggling. the fact they are offering it shows the market is changing.
