Yesterday I received a check in the mail from my Dealer, Freedom @Ford, in Greenville Texas. It was for my price protection guarantee! Actual purchase date was August 15, 2022. Check received Jan 11, 2023. 😁

The $100 reservation fee would be sent directly to the dealer. Your dealer should've rolled it into your purchase or refunded it. Ford was just a middle man on that.

907 days and finally called Ford directly today. Was told had a good order in and was "Unscheduled Clean", which apparently just means that the dealer did not screw up the order. They have no idea when or if it will be built but do show a price protection certificate for $3423 (Big Wooptie at this point) and it shows to expire in April 2023. WTF ?

Getting madder by the minute now. Escalated from madder by the day.

Don’t worry about the date it won’t expire, the SmartVincent is just a generic form for most discounts.
Mine said it expires Early December and I received my Bronco towards the end of December and I received my $2,350 discount. The only thing I suggest is when you go do the paperwork, make sure to tell them to bring up the SmartVincent using your order number to get the amount off other wise they may not add it to your paperwork, and you won’t get the amount for price protection off.

Definitely push the dealer to give you the price protection at the time of the sale. There's zero reason for them to wait. But it gives them a chance to "forget" to send it to you.

The Dealership will have that in the contract of the -$100°° if not make sure to have them put that on.
Mine did not have the $100°° back to me because my Dealership Sold and they could not have money tied up in the account, so they refunded me and everybody else that had any vehicle tied up in an order and gave back their money.
My $100°° came back to me through the Credit Card.
