Avoid this dealership like the plague

I purchased an Expedition from them in 2020, to be loyal to the sales rep who was nice enough to us, I moved my Bronco day 1 reservation to them. Assured by them it will be sold to me at MSRP or less. They took my CC for a deposit and sent me an order form with price.

2 years later, Bronco arrives. They tried to markup the car by $15k - then $7500, then $6500.

Avoid them like the plague.

Bronco Marketing team tried to be helpful but ultimately was unable to resolve on this specific car. They helped me get a MY2022 from another dealer and put attention on it to be prioritized which I am thankful for.

You can find Woodbridge Ford Sales Showroom google review link here, where you can see they are obviously shilling or incentivizing reviews.

Sorry to hear. But please don't call the Bronco a car. Sorry it's a pet peave. At least problem was resolved.

What I have is this order from the dealer. They "lost" their records (where we had signed and provided our credit card) on their end and the only way I'd get to see what they actually had would be to take them to court via discovery, which isn't worth the effort.

I already know 'this isn't a purchase oder' - it was in a context of a message directly from Woodbridge Ford's order desk on delivery times - at no point until 2022 when "markup" trend started was their any indication we would be at anything other than MSRP on my day 1 reservation.

When both the dealer and Ford send you 100 emails saying "YOUR FORD BRONCO" on my Day 1 reservation, I expect it to be MY FORD BRONCO. I tried to change it to a different dealer (before actual build started) after I heard nightmare stories from others about these bait and switch artists, neither Woodbridge Ford nor Ford itself would accommodate.

On the re-order, I made sure to put hard money down (with a receipt) and get a yellow purchase order at the MSRP, with a reputable dealer.

@SlashRacer
What does this email mean:
HERE’S THE LATEST ON YOUR VEHICLE
FRANCIS,

"Thanks again for placing your 2022 Bronco Base order. We’re working hard to assemble your vehicle, but it’s going to take more time than expected to finish it.

We want to make sure it’s assembled right, so we will be performing quality checks, inspections and tests before it’s delivered to you.

We know there’s a lot of anticipation when it comes to getting into a new vehicle, so we’ll make sure to keep you updated. Once your vehicle is assembled, you’ll be hearing from us again with an estimated date for delivery to your dealer.

Well marketing says your Ford dealer is an independant dealer. If he want to screw you he can. No laws. No damages cant go court on breach of contract. So how do we protect ourselves."

Make sure have signed purchase agreement. Credit card receipts are prima facie of payment!
I applied for loan 60 day lock in rate for $25,000
I change auto insurance policy to estimated shipping date 3/31/22 based on two calls to marketing.
I got oral ( representions) from second saleman on my tracking email deal is MSRP.

Bottom line the dam dealers can do what they want, they bought the BRONCO not you, except the UCC says SPECIAL goods order! Insurable interest exists when BRONCO is shipped. Dealer must pay under floor plan upon shipmement.

So what does the above email mean?

This was my error in this case, I should have watched the scum run my credit card. It turns out they never ran it, they just wrote the number down. Which is really rich - they preserved the option to CHARGE me a deposit in case this was a normal pre-order, but also NOT CHARGE me to have deniability that an offer was ever made.

I'm hoping Ford punishes these dealers. I know they were put on a cut off list for orders (not sure if all dealers got this or just the bad ones).
