Window drop when opening door

I searched but couldn't find it.
Does anyone know the update/code/name for the new program for the windows to drop when touching handle or unlock with key fob? I have an appointment tomorrow with Ford, and want to ask them to do the update.

All I could find:
FYI - The windows all auto dropping 1/4” when any door handle is used was a late 2023 enhancement and IIRC can be updated vai software.

Not yet, at least not in my ‘23

Please let me know if they get this done for you and how they get it done.
I took mine in last week and they said my DDM/PDM had all available updates already.

I have a 22 - 4 door - badlands - high

I attached the SSM. I had it done last month. Showed this to the dealer and they looked it up, said, yup. My build was April last yr. This was available after July, I think.

I attached the SSM. I had it done last month. Showed this to the dealer and they looked it up, said, yup. My build was April last yr. This was available after July, I think.

Same curious if this can be done on a '22

It’s not a DDM, it’s an SSM. Show them the image of the SSM I sent. All my “regular” software was up to date, as well. This is something different.

It’s not a DDM, it’s an SSM. Show them the image of the SSM I sent. All my “regular” software was up to date, as well. This is something different.

DDM/PDM refers to the "driver door module" and "passenger door module" that the SSM references :)

No. The reason given to me, and it makes sense, is if there’s an issue during the update, say, your wireless signal is interrupted for some reason, you won’t be stuck with your windows ajar or inoperable. If it is done in house, any issues with programming are addressed immediately.

So, gonna play Devil's advocate on this.

I dont particularly like all windows bumping down, and back up, for a single person entry. This seems like a lot of wearable actions, for when a single entry is only needed.

Hmm...trying to remember how many years my weatherstripping lasted on other vehicles with the frameless windows and I dont recollect ever having to change the weatherstripping because of wear on opening a door.

Just saying....sometimes, the juice isnt worth the squeeze. For this, I hope the OTA doesnt come to my truck.

Yesterday when they tried the update on the SSM both doors said update available. He updated them but it didn't work. Build date was 6/21/23. Wildtrak 4 door.
