I think things will settle down a bit and the ADM will level out, like $5k over all over the place. People that were/are stupid enough to pay $25k over MSRP are few(er) and far(er) between. There are probably a lot of people that will pay $5k over though, so dealers will probably get that until MY23 comes out, this year. That being said, the number of fanatics is finite, and at some point Ford will be selling Broncos to people that want a "car" and they are cross-shopping, not solely looking for a Bronco. The Bronco-craze will die down.
There will be a lot of people upside down in their financing for the first couple years, and if they want to dump their vehicle, they won't be able to, because it'll be cheaper to buy new, off the lot, once the craze dies down. There will be people that owe as much on a one or two year vehicles as you or I could pay for a new one off the lot. It'll be like, on a smaller scale, the housing bubble in 2006 or 2007 when people were buying houses they couldn't afford and it caught up to everyone. There will be a bunch of people driving a vehicle they don't like because they can't get out from under it, or it'll be rolled into the loan of their next car and they'll be even more wildly upside down. From the sidelines, it'll be funny, but not haha funny, the tears of a clown kind of funny.
