Will the ADMs go even higher now???

Now that the order banks for the 2022 Bronco are closing on March 7th, it would appear it gives the dealers more reason to jack up the ADMs even more. If someone wants a Bronco, ordering one is no longer an option. Pay the ADM or wait until this fall when you can put in an order for a 2023 model and wait a year.

I'm sure many will use the order banks closing to their advantage. But as I've said before the only way to keep dealers from charging ADMs is to not pay the ADMs. Dealers will only sit on inventory for so long. For every unsold vehicle on their lot that is one less vehicle they can buy. They're only alloted so much on their floorplan.

This. My dealer is running into problems with other dealers trying to buy his stock so they can charge over MSRP because he is selling at MSRP.

Well we all know how well that turns out, you're always going to have somebody running to the dealership because they want a Bronco right now, and especially since they closed the order books on them that'll make more people flocking to dealerships wanting a Bronco now. Once again the dealership's win and the reservation/order holders lose.
I have searched for my exact build and I can never find one, so I am stuck exactly where I'm at waiting. While others who don't care too much what their build is run to the dealerships and purchase what's on the spot just to have a bronco, even if that means paying massive adm's which in the end benefits the dealerships but like I said earlier hurts all of us.

Edited: keep in mind that I am not talking about all Dealerships, just the real shady ones. Most Dealerships are up front, honest, and doing the right thing.

It's funny. Throughout all of this I have never once did an inventory search or looked on sites like cars dot com for my build. Or for any Bronco for that matter. I'm just not in that much of a hurry to invest all of that time searching. Or possibly finding one 1000 miles away and not being able to get it. My order is in. I will get it when I get it.

My brother is waiting on his Maverick while I'm waiting on my Bronco. The order banks closed a little while back for the Maverick and the dealers have been taking advantage. Here's a screen shot he sent me. I'm not sure I could walk out of this dealership without punching the salesman in the face, but hey, that's just me.

I think things will settle down a bit and the ADM will level out, like $5k over all over the place. People that were/are stupid enough to pay $25k over MSRP are few(er) and far(er) between. There are probably a lot of people that will pay $5k over though, so dealers will probably get that until MY23 comes out, this year. That being said, the number of fanatics is finite, and at some point Ford will be selling Broncos to people that want a "car" and they are cross-shopping, not solely looking for a Bronco. The Bronco-craze will die down.

There will be a lot of people upside down in their financing for the first couple years, and if they want to dump their vehicle, they won't be able to, because it'll be cheaper to buy new, off the lot, once the craze dies down. There will be people that owe as much on a one or two year vehicles as you or I could pay for a new one off the lot. It'll be like, on a smaller scale, the housing bubble in 2006 or 2007 when people were buying houses they couldn't afford and it caught up to everyone. There will be a bunch of people driving a vehicle they don't like because they can't get out from under it, or it'll be rolled into the loan of their next car and they'll be even more wildly upside down. From the sidelines, it'll be funny, but not haha funny, the tears of a clown kind of funny.

Its not just Ford. Its almost every dealer. Just about.

Its for a combination of reasons like supply issues, inflation, chip issues, magnesium issues etc. not just because some dealers are no good.

Paying 5K ADM or less, while no fun, is not a deal breaker these days. Paying over 10K ADM is dumb and not worth it. For any car.

Gas prices are set to increase soon, again, so keep this in mind..

One thing more valuable than money, is Time. You have to decide what is more important to you...money or time. Both are important but you gotta pick. Then make your move or wait it out. If you wait, make sure your price is locked in via purchase agreement and if necessary...proceed with financing after you have (1) a Vin (2) your bronco is in transit to your dealer to avoid last minute ADM some have had to endure or walk away from over the last 6 months.

I will say, after doing a search of Used 2021 broncos for sale there are a Ton. Some with ADM. Some without. Many with low miles (5K or less). I understand a new bronco, there is just something about it and you being first to own it. I agree. But if you really want a bronco today, for a decent asking price, there are plenty of used ones available. If the one you want is out of state just have dealer build transport (and your local state tax) into the loan and they give you a check with your dealer jacket to pay your local tax when you register the out of state vehicle at DMV.
