So next week I am scheduled to walk into dealer with printout of my b&p to go through with order. What kind of wiggle room do I have to with them to and try to knock a few grand of b&p price? Or because it’s in high demand, is it take b&p price or leave it ?

Your going to be at msrp. Your not going to have any real negotiating to drop price from there. Some dealers are adding ADM

The short answer is yes. Some, not many, dealers will give you a small break on either fees or MSRP pricing. To obtain “the great deal” takes effort. More effort than most buyers are willing to invest.

Keep in mind, most buyers have thought about three objectives concerning their Bronco.
  • When will I get my Bronco?
  • Will the Bronco which arrives be the one I ordered with no errors in options?
  • Will I get a good deal?
The importance of each objective is then prioritized, and that priority is used in selecting a dealer.

If getting a good deal is your highest priority, it will require significant time and effort to prepare.

I would add that face-to-face negotiation will be your most challenging. Voice-to-voice negotiations are also challenging. I would recommend email communications exclusively since most buyers are conflict avoidant.

Hope this helps.

My order is MSRP. They would not budge on the price. On the bright side, there was no ADM.

Thanks. I just don't think we have a leg to stand on. Pay MSRP or get out and the next guy will pay for it in a heartbeat...at least in the first year

I agree, you're looking at B&P price plus sales tax (I expect $1500-2k in Alabama), tag, title, and DOC (commonly mistaken for documentation fee, this is actually Dealer Overhead Cost, usually $500-700) combined for your best case out the door on your Bronco. If you wait 3-4 years, you might negotiate an out the door price a few grand under sticker, but not gonna happen this year.
