Why did you choose your model of bronco?

I knew from the begging what I wanted and would never take any less. I wanted a 2 door stick shift. Yes that was all I wanted when I considered my build. This was two years ago when my friend told me they were going to bring the bronco back. We spent the time up to the release date thinking of what it would actually looked like. I knew as soon as I could choose a model which model I would chose. The Black Diamond model was the name l like due to I like snow sking. I still wanted the stick but then I found out you could only have it in the 4 Banger. I was okay still hated that I could not get the 6 but still wanted that stick so back. When I went to actually build Or practice build my bronco I found out what things I was loosing with keeeping my stick. So what all that said I eventually chose the black diamond with the mid package automatic with the aluminium wheels. I chose this because if had the seats I wanted, the flooring I wanted, the bumpers, rock rails, and bash plate. This bronco will be my skinig partner we will have loads of adventures. So I was wonderin what was the reason everyone chose their bonrco. Look forword to being educated on the options and fine point I may have missed. My bronco is ordered and in about 10 days Ford will close out orderin6 and I will start to get really excited!!!!!!

2 door because it's a bronco, Badlands for the sway bar disconnect, High Package for the 12" screen and cams, Iconic Silver shows dust the least since we live on dirt roads, 6cy because it's a 6cyl, auto trans because the previous six broncos I own/owned were three or four speed manuals.......and most of all that's what the wife wanted, it will be her daily driver.

A 4dr Sasquatch cactus gray Badlands
2.7 L
High package

I wanted the high package with vinyl and washout interior because I feel that the vinyl seats are one of the best interiors on the Bronco. I was thinking about the Wildtrak because of what you get and cost, but I am not a fan of the interior. The ability to clean the interior when you have two messy kids in a must. Also, this sounds stupid, but I love the molle strap setup on the back of the Badlands seats. My current Ford vehicles have carpet flooring and cloth seats. They both are not good for the likes of kids. Ha

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't all the seats have the Molle system? I could have sworn in the videos it was on the WT as well, it better LOL

I really don’t know. There is a lot that I am still finding out that’s what I was wondering what everyone chose and why. However maybe someone will know the answer.

Based on what I have seen as far as pictures from the other Broncos and this, I think the BD and BL's are the only two models with the molle strap system on the back of the seats. None of the other models have this in their interior description.

I told my wife the same thing. We need to get out of CA and explore. Any car would get us out, but the Bronco would make it even more enjoyable.

This is a fun post!

I wanted a manual transmission, and I love tech/safety/feature packages, so was drawn to the lux package. You could get both in a Badlands, so Badlands it was for me!
4 door for the extra passenger and storage space.
tow package for bike and ski carriers (I'm sure I'll never pull a trailer).
MIC hard top because the AZ sun just destroys soft tops (dealt with that with the wife's previous Z3)
Upgraded gloss black/beadlock wheels because I think they look better.
Tube doors / bimini mesh top for rolling topless (Mrs @tlowell01 flat out refuses to ride completely doorless on the street or the trails, so tube doors are a compromise).

The ONLY thing that was tough for me to decide was color. I'm not a fan of greyscale colors on cars, and I bounced around between area 51, AMB, rapid red, but I finally came down on Velocity Blue. I love the bright blue and think it looks great on the Bronco! The Race Red from the Wildtrak did give me pause and made me rethink color, but I did end up sticking with VB.

Network of people to hit the roads with could be fun. My best friend is buying a bronco too. So I guess I’ll at least have one to road trip with. I think it would be fun to get a group bronco lovers toghetr and head somewhere like CO. or whereever would be a blast. I have seen many trials for the Broncos in Colorado

Fellow Arizonan in south Tempe. There are several of us active on BN. I don't think we'll have a tough time getting groups together to hit the trails!

I wanted, and originally ordered a Rapid Red 4dr Wildtrak because it had everything I wanted and I considered it the next best option to the FE in capability and appearance. The 4 doors and the WT interior were a compromise out of necessity rather than preference. When my wife decided she wanted to trade her MKZ in for a Bronco Sport, I no longer needed the extra 2 doors. This also meant the leather option no longer made sense since leather in the 2 door meant I would be paying the same price ($2,159) for the leather upgrade and would not get the power seats you get with the 4 door leather upgrade. So I went with the vehicle below.

Badlands
2.7/Auto
2dr
Antimatter Blue
Sasquatch
Lux
MGV
Towing Pkg.
MIC top w/sound deadening headliner.
