Why are the fender flares not quite as round on the Everglades?

Does anyone know why the fender flares are not quite as round on the Everglades? I like the look of them better than the standard rounded fender flares on the base through the Wildtrak models.

Design choice. It is nice to have a flat surface when out in the bush. A good place to set things down.

I like the look too, ready for a boom in fender flare options to fit the market

Probably just a style choice since it is a special edition vehicle. I too like it more than the standard Bronco.

I actually like everything about the Everglades trim except that it doesn't come with a manual transmission. If it wasn't for that I would switch immediately. It's basically my exact build sans the transmission.

Good question. The squared wheel arches definitely makes the Everglades trim level stand apart. I think the fenders are also squared off. Not just the opening, but the entire wheel lip. So it makes me wonder if the fenders and the quarter panels differ entirely from the other Broncos.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

The fenders and rear quarters on the bronco are easily removable, and Ford has a squared fender, as well as some aftermarket companies. You should be able to replicate this look.

Great feedback, thanks! It is definitely a better and more aggressive look IMO. It makes the rounded fender flare looks quite plain and boring. Oh well, I am sure there are many changes in future model years we will end up liking as well.

I'm hoping the aftermarket jumps and and makes some squared off fender flares that will work with the stock fenders. The Everglades fenders are completely different. So to replicate the look would be quite costly.

I'm with you Brother. I want the MT especially since all I can get is the 2.3, and now we can get Mansquatches. but because of the desert sand color I am really leaning toward changing my order in 8 days. I can learn to drive an Automatic, at least i would get the donut button. :)

If I knew I could get a manual transmission in a few years when I go to replace my Focus, I would be more willing to switch. But I got a feeling this Bronco will probably be the last manual transmission vehicle I will be able to buy. Right now there are still a few low-cost compact vehicles that are still offered with a manual... but I betcha in another 5-10 years it'll all be hybrids with CVTs.

I hear you. I still have my 08 Cobalt 5-speed that I will keep forever so I can feed my clutch needs still.
