I have a BadSAS on order with no VIN. I know it makes no sense to some but I am already ordering stuff filling my garage getting ready. The studying I have done caused me to go with zero offset. Zero will give me about 1 inch of poke over stock. Which is what I am looking for. +18 was going to give me way to much poke for my liking. Don't want the rock chips that come with that much poke. Hope this helps.
If zero offset gives you one inch of "poke", +18mm will give you almost 3/4"
less poke. Positive offset gives less "poke". As stated above, offset is measured from centerline. It's not different based on the manufacturer, it is a measurement, either zero or some amount. You can buy wheels with different offset/backspacing, but offset is a defined term, meaning the measurement from centerline.
BTW, -12mm offset would put the tire (assuming same width tire, on same width wheel) much further out than stock, if going from +55 to -12mm. 67mm is over 2.5".
