question, which rims are each of these in the pics below? I like the all black look in the 2nd picture as opposed to the shiny silver in the first picture. I converted my reservation into a BADLANDS, and my order form shows a 17" black high gloss painted aluminum, beadlock capable wheels. So, on my order form, are mine the first picture or the 2nd picture? My tires are the LT315/70R17 Mud-Terrain (M/T) Tires. thanks for any help.

First picture. Paint or powder coat them black!

Welcome to BN and congrats on your BL order! Sounds like you have ordered the BL with Sasquatch which would have the wheels in the first pic (beadlock capable with warm alloy trim). The second pic are wheels for the FE and Wildtrak Broncs (same beadlock capable wheel but with black trim ). The trim rings are interchangeable so you could swap for the look you like. (y)

You are not alone on this as has been discussed in some other threads, the short is I believe Ford isn't offering the roof rack due to GVWR or roll over concerns. The steps can't be added due to the rock rails, however, you should be able to order both from your dealer or there will be many AM options available.

Ford Authority has every wheel shown side by side and it describes which wheel is included with with build. It may help decipher which wheel goes where...

Can you just take that trim ring off, I mean if you are not using it as a bead lock. That is one of the reasons I skipped the Squatch. That and the 7-speed manual.

The trim ring can't actually be used as a bead lock, it's just a "trim" ring, for decoration. It has about 1/2 the amount of screw holes needed to use as bead locks. You could take it off but it will look weird as it's part of the design of the rim itself. Colors can be swapped, or you can order actual bead lock rings from ford performance to make your rims actual bead locks.

Plasti-Dip spray them black. Simply clean ring, wipe it down with alcohol, and spray. Looks good, can be touched up anytime and can be removed if you get sick of the look, as opposed to sanding and spray painting or powder coating. Videos all over you tube. I've done it on wheels, bumpers, and other chromed parts. It is a piece of cake, works, and it is cheap. I plan to do it to the beauty ring myself.
