Trying to find specs for the stock Ford wheels offered throughout the Bronco line. There are obviously three different wheel sizes - 16", 17", and 18". For the life of me I can't find the offset and backspacing for the factory wheels.

Does anybody happen to know those numbers? Personally I only need the offset and backspacing for the 17" standard wheels and the 17" Sasquatch bead-lock capable wheels but I'm sure other members might want the same for all of the wheels. Plenty of aftermarket specs out there but not the factory specs. Thanks!

Also if anyone has the weight of the factory wheels that would be greatly appreciated.

You really only need the offset or the backspacing, since if you know one you know the other. It's on 6G.

It's on 6G doesn't help. I looked at the official thread and it is not there other than someone saying it is +55 like the ranger. Back spacing can be different depending on the wheel. A 9" wheel has a different backspace to a 8.5" wheel with the same offset. I'm asking here because I do not even know the width difference between the 17" wheel and the 17" beadlock capable wheel.

Check out this page. I knew this was discussed but it took me a while to find it.

Sorry, I don't have access to 6G or I would have linked it.

This was the first time it confirmed that the sasquatch wheel is different (to me at least).

Only the Sasquatch beadlock is capable of taking a true 35" or larger tire. All 35" tires that I have checked on call for a minimum rim width of 8.5". Now if you want to stick with the 315/70R70 tire size that works with the 8" wheel but tire choices are more limited in that size. Self-squatching just got more expensive.

The tire width will determine the wheel width. You can run a tall skinny tire on a skinny wheel. Seems everyone thinks a 35" tire is related to the "315" in the stock Bronco tire size. 315 is the width (in millimeters) and has nothing to do with the height. It's like saying a 12.5" wide tire is a 35" tall tire. It's not, necessarily (315mm = ~12.5" (wide)) The wheel a 35" tire requires will be dependent on the hole in the middle (for a 17", 18", 20" wheel), and the width (of both the tire and the wheel) because wheels are measured in diameter and width, as are tires (with the last number being the diameter of the hole in the middle to tell you what size wheel, in diameter, it fits).

None of this makes any difference if all you are talking about are stock tires and stock wheels, but if you want to know what size tire you can fit on a wheel, you need to know the width, not the height, of the tire.

As an example, a BFG TA MT/KM3, in 315/70/17 (metric equivalent 35" tire) will ride on an 8" - 10" wheel. A 35x12.5x17 BFG TA MT/KM3 requires a 8.5" - 10" wheel. A 35x10x17 Interco TSL SXII tire requires an 8" wheel. The Interco 35x10.5x17 SSR requires a 7" - 9" wheel. They are all 35" tires. **The wheel widths I quoted are all the manufacturer recommended wheel widths and they are all 17" wheels.
