What is the difference between Signature Headlamps and Regular Headlamps

Can someone clarify what the actual difference between the base headlights and signature headlights is? Is it only the horizontal bar cutting across the headlamp? In the build and price and CGI images of the vehicles it looks like there is no halo ring on the base/BB/BD headlamps. It looks like the halo ring is there in the signature lights on OBX,BL,WT,FE. In photos posted in a bunch of places now it looks like the base headlights still have the halo ring and just don't have the bar cutting across the headlamp. Can anyone clarify this? Is the Halo ring that looks like it is there lit on the base lamps or just appearance when the lights are off?

I’m not sure the ring is functional when the parking lights are on, or even when the lights are on. Maybe they are but they look quite a bit different because of the horizontal bar.

That was explained early on as just a trim ring showing up on the standard grills and that the OBX and above trims light up .

After seeing actual pictures with the chrome ring in the BD headlamps, I think they look much better than the CGI images on the Ford page and build and price.

I like both, however the standard with BD combo is starting to win me over with that old school look.
