What Happened to Antimatter Blue?

At this point no. The reports about AMB were just rumors (they also had A51 going away which also didn't happen).

It's starting to look like they want people to all have primer grey and get their own paint jobs or wraps to speed up production.

I read in August, 2022, that Ford was bringing back Antimatter Blue for MY 2023. Today, I changed over my unbuilt 2022 order to '23, but found out that Antimatter Blue is not available after all. Will we still see it for 2023?

Sadly AMB is gone. Those were just rumors.

AMB was the color I had originally picked for my Bronco. My Bronco ended up being a 2022MY, so obviously I was unable to keep that choice, but shortly after I replaced my 2022MY order I saw an F-150 in anti-matter blue on a dealer lot. It was a cloudy day and to be perfectly honest I thought it was shadow black when I first saw it. Even in your photo, if you just briefly glanced at it, you'd think both of those vehicles were black.

In many ways I feel like I dodged a bullet considering the color looks black unless it's in direct sunlight, and I would imagine it's really difficult to keep clean. But another part of me wishes I could have kept that color, because when you do get it in the right lighting it looks awesome.

I've always been glad I was able to get mine in antimatter blue. I think it looks great and it's still my favorite Bronco color by far. I have two yellow labs, so I have much more trouble keeping the gray and black interior clean than the exterior.

Antimatter Blue was my second favorite color next to Eruption Green. Was sad to see it go. Hope it does make a return down the line.

I have a vivid recollection of Antimatter Blue, which I love by the way. It was the color of the first Bronco I saw in person, at the 2022 Seattle International Auto Show, which I attended on November 11, 2021. The next day, I went to my Ford dealer and ordered my Bronco. Guess you could say I felt "inspired." 😍

It's sad that they stopped painting Broncos this color, but it's cool for those that have them!

AMB was my color choice too..or well love the Mettalic Grey I got. BTW I saw your picture, my first impression was "look 2 BLACK Broncos"...LOL

It’s enigmatic. Your first thought is “It’s black,” then you’re like “Oh, wait. It’s not…” It’s unique. 😎

I love the color. The cool part is that it looks black but in the right light it is an amazing color of Blue. I have an Equinox that is midnight blue metallic almost exactly AMB. It gives it that cool sinister look but there is some color to it.

I actually just saw an Antimatter blue today. It’s a really cool color, having a lot of variety to it depending on shade or direct sunlight

FYI.....I had my first car(1969 buick rivera) painted by Earl Scheib in 1984. 😲

I think Scheib painted my 68 Skylark when it was new

AMB was my first choice! I loved the color, it was close to the Midnight Blue Metallic my H3 was but better. Was really bummed I had to change. I had to re-order in Area 51 after a fiasco with the dealership. My wait begins again :(
