What does this bolt do?

Just replaced all the hard top bolts with Rockwerkx Hard Top Quick Removal Fastener Thumb Screws, and this bolt is next to the front bolt on both sides with some kind of nut underneath that spun when trying to remove. I needed to hold it with a set of pliers to get it out which didn't make sense being it didn't even have a torx in the kit to remove it.

That's an alignment pin. There's 4 of them, and you're supposed to leave them attached to the hard top, even when removing it.

Yes, they are a nice quality and have used them for tie downs with bungees, plus they look nicer than the factory bolts.

I've got a set to install but the top roll bar screw downs were backordered but now on their way.
2022 Bronco Badlands, 4D, Hot Pepper Red, 2.7, Squatch, Lux, and MIC.

OMG! You did not remove it did you? That bolt holds the ENGINE to the frame:)
