Weird G.O.A.T Problem Solved

When I got my new Badlands 4 door home and was reviewing the G.O.A.T mode settings all 7 modes did show just as they were designed to. Then, after I was modifying some settings in My Key and other stuff, all but the basic three disappeared. I finally got them back by doing a factory reset. I never did figure out which setting I changed that caused this strange problem.

I wandered and got lost, again.

That may not be as weird as you might otherwise think. Don't quote me on this but I seem to remember that by using My Key that it is possible to lock out certain vehicle functions (among other things such as limiting allowed speeds). The idea being that you can have a second key (that you might allow one of your children to use) to lend to others while still maintaining some control over the vehicle. Coupled with Ford Pass vehicle control it's pretty comprehensive.

The keys you get are not marked and only one of them is the admin key.

I'm going to the Off-Roadeo event this Friday. I'll be sure to ask them about this. It does sound likely that the My Key settings may have caused this.

Makes sense. I know on my courtesy truck rental I got for a recall they had the truck limited in function and speed via the MyKey and I signed a notice about it. Not exactly sure how deep it can go in functioning limitations, but would be nice to limit to 10 mph as a anti-theft device LOL.
Would be perfect to go on vacation, limit all my FORDs to that 10 mph, the punks would get frustrated and just leave the cars alone.

My Ultimate9 throttle controller has a lock function,,it will allow the Bronco to start but will not respond to throttle input!

Is this a forscan option? If not, it should be.

Also note the the Badlands does come with Sport mode. But you can add it with ForScan.
