I'm already seeing this: scuffs, and scratches on the interior, plastic, body panels. It feels like they are very very easy to scuff up. Anyone else noticing it ?

Think I've read about this issue. Ceramic coating the interior plastics and trims would help protect this. Lots of diy options out there and it's not very difficult.

Thanks. I'll add that to the list. Ceramic coat exterior, AND interior.

We might start hearing about people doing vinyl wrap the interior too?

The plastics do scratch easily (and there is a lot of plastic!) but, it’s a rough, tough Bronco and shouldn’t be babied!

Wrap is tough to apply on the textured surfaces but there are DIY spray-paint solutions to freshen up the interior if it gets really bad.

I have heard tell its possible to soften the scratched with a heat gun and retexture, but I have never done this myself. maybe some other brave soul to give this a go and report back

I'm going to start investigating if someone can leather wrap the dash. I'm sure it can be done but at what cost.

Several people on B6G have had their dash wrapped with leather. Really looks nice.

I like the finish on the dash, right now at least.

I like the idea of a wrap for the inside panels, but the ceramic DIY route seems a cheaper, easier route.

Are there spacific areas you are noticing that at taking the brunt of the damage?

I had the ESP protection done inside and out. Maybe it will be good, maybe it’s snake oil.

P.S. Arrived OBX tonight.

I hear what you're saying, @MarkPS, but nothing lasts. It's not new for long, and it's bound to show its wear over time. Think of slipping on your favorite broken-in jeans, threadbare sweatshirt, or soft old baseball mitt. The Bronco should be no different. You're just breaking her in! ;)

It’s the finish of the plastic, and probably it’s hardness or lack of. If you ding the side walls it leaves a mark. Lots of those are probably just scuff marks, but you can see places where the surface is actually abraded/ scratched.

I hear ya. That’s why it’s important for you to take as many photos of your Bronco as possible, as soon as you take delivery, so your Bronco can say “See when I was young and beautiful?” 😋

Yes. Even upon delivery some throughout and a big scratch across the steering wheel center below the Bronco emblem.
