We want the Wildtrak door handles to be painted body color!

Don't get me wrong I am very excited about my new Bronco Wildtrak. When I learned the painted body color door handles were going to be the black MIC... I was incredibly disappointed. I'm going to have to shell out $300 - $400 plus the cost of labor when the 21 came with them. If Ford reads this - we prefer body painted door handles! Please consider changing this on the Wildtrak it sets it apart from the other models.

Take it to a body shop and ask them to take the handles off and paint them to match. It wouldn’t cost much more than a factory option.

Just do it yourself. I have a white bronco and I'm glad I have the black MIC door handles. It offsets the white really nice. Plus people have complained about rocks and stuff being shot up the side and chipping the pain on the door handles. MIC is a safer bet.

I too love the painted door handles… it makes the Bronco look more finished…
I completely agree with you on MY2022 down grade here…

I also was shocked to see the 2022 Wildtrak SASQ wheels now have the aluminum colored outer ring.
The 2021 Wildtrak had the black ring same as the First Edition…. It too looks way better that the lesser model SASQ’s.

here is my Blk Diamond with the status quo SASQ wheels, which evidently Ford felt they needed to down grade the Wildtrak…

the whole point of the Wildtrak was it is a luxury model that stands out from the other models….I think they should have left things alone with the Wildtrak….

I originally ordered a Wildtrak but when I found out it did not come with the sta-bar disconnect and the bash plates and no steel bumpers but rather plastic I jumped ship to the Badlands. Hopefully my 2door Badlands will show up in 2022. Function over form drove my decision.

Personally I think the Outerbanks with the (non navy) tobacco interior with a SASQ and Lux package is the best looking Bronco available….

For looks I agree with JIO. I was pricing an Outer Banks for the color matched fenders and handles but when I lost the fenders for SAS I jumped to WT. cmiller makes a great point if you're going off road and the contrast is cool on certain colors. I did not realize I lost the black rings. That sucks.

You could do that or get a nice wrap for them.

At the Ford 2022 ordering podcast they showed the 2022 Wildtrak with Mic door handles and silver wheel rings. I hope I’m wrong… the black wheel rings are the bomb!

My order details shows black beauty ring as well but guess I'll see what it shows up with...if it shows up in 2022.

Here is the 2022 Wildtrak as presented by Esteban Plaza-Jennings with the new green color. This is the recent podcast to explain the differences between the 2021 and the 2022 MY
Regrettably the Wildtrak shown comes with what looks like silver/gray wheel rings.
I could still be wrong… let’s hope I am…
I really do like the Black rings

also notable is the pull out tailgate (late 2022), the black mic door handles, and the 4 door roof rack bars that never existed until the 2022 MY.

The EG Bronco that was making it rounds was a Outer Banks and not a Wildtrak.
I can't tell by the pictures you showed if it is the same Bronco.

Yeah, it has had me thinking about just ordering a SAS OBX, but I really don't like the roast or navy interior. Could just get cloth and have better looking custom leather done, but once again Ford is basically forcing our hand.
Or just get badlands like everyone else and live with the quirky design features and silly looking orange ascents.

Tailgate 2022 note how the cargo area is more leveled out…
That is the 'sliding tailgate' which is not a tail gate, but a sliding platform in the cargo area. Apparently late late 22 availability. The standard cargo area is not any more level than the 21 model year.

I got the OBX with the tobacco leather interior, LUX a package SASQ in the Eruption Green. I might be dead when I get it but hopefully they can bury me in it.
